It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
I love this season, I really am that big kid at Christmas, I love time with family and friends, the decorations, the spirit of the season, the giving, the love.
So coming into this season in the mind frame I have been in recently, seems ridiculous. So I’ve had to make some hard decisions. If you’ve read a few of my recent blog posts (Busy? Busy! Part 1., A Break From Busy! (Busy? Busy! Part 2) and Searching for Something) you can see how overwhelming life has been lately.
I’ve now (publically) made the decision to deactivate Facebook for at least the school holidays. And you know what I feel: relief. I need time to recharge, relax, rest and reevaluate all the things going on in my life.
I’ll still be working through my plan and slightly altering as needed. Deciding what is important and what direction I want to go. Will it be perfect? Probably not. Will I have all the answers? I wish. But I will have more calm, more authentic interactions and more time.
And I for one, can’t wait.
