Happy Little Housewife is a real-life blog that will be discussing parenting and all that entails (the good, the bad & the ugly), the never-ending cleaning & organising in the house, baking for parties or just every day life (I love baking beautiful cakes) and sharing my story while (mostly) loving life. This is a place where you can find relatable, every day struggles, failures and wins along with hints, tips, tricks or just something you can nod your head at and think “me too” while knowing that you are not alone.

You can follow me on Facebook here.

Now, a little about me! I’m 32 years old – a stay at home mum to Miss S (5) and Mr L (4) and a wife (10 year wedding anniversary this year). I’m currently President of my daughter’s schools P&C Committee, and have a small hobby sewing page Little Cherry Owl that sews children’s clothing (predominately girls clothes) and also along with my friend at Little Muddy Owl (who specialises in boys clothing) we embroider gorgeous items for practical, fun &/or imagination play: masks, finger puppets,  keyrings, hooded towels (made using full size bath towels to allow room for the kids to grow), pencil toppers and so much more. Basically, if you think it, we can stitch it.

Aside from the above, I also love reading (my favourites are Jodi Picoult, Cecilia Ahern, Dean Koontz and Bella Forrest), scrapbooking (although I no longer have as much time as I would like), Bullet Journalling, I’ve also made & decorated quite a few cakes for friends (and my own kids) birthday parties, basically anything creative I’ll give a go, I recently (start of September) joined an Adult Gymnastics class and really started working on my fitness by walking and making healthier choices and have also been inspired to really declutter my house and attempt to stay on top of the housework.

So that’s me in a nutshell, you can read a bit more about me in my Introduction post.

Looking forward to sharing this journey.

Christine xx
